Opened in 2014, Colonel is Lebanon's craft-beer pioneer: an eco-minded microbrewery and brewpub built from recycled materials right on Batroun's seafront. Sample a plate of house beers from golden lagers to a dark Black Irish, with burgers and salads, then head to its adjoining Colonel Reef beach. Regular live music and a laid-back garden make it a Batroun institution.
