One of Gemmayzeh's oldest and most beloved bars, Torino Express packs a bohemian crowd of writers, students and artists into a narrow, neon-lit cellar of a 1930s Beiruti house. By day it's a cosy coffee spot; by night the volume rises with jazz, rock, alternative and new wave, and the bartenders pour some of the best mojitos in town. It's a classic first or last stop on a night out along Rue Gouraud.
