Founded by chef Mireille Hayek in 2010, Em Sherif recreates a lavish Beiruti mansion where a set menu of more than thirty mezze arrives course after course. The Achrafieh dining room glows with chandeliers, hand-painted murals and marble tables while a live band plays traditional tarab into the night. Reservations are essential and the drinks list extends to fine Lebanese arak, wine and champagne.
