Founded in 1935, Café Younes is Lebanon's oldest specialty-coffee roastery, now set in a restored 1950s house with a hidden garden on Baalbek Street in Hamra. Vintage sample roasters perfume the air while baristas pour freshly roasted single origins alongside baked goods, breakfast plates and sandwiches. It is a beloved gathering spot for students, writers and coffee lovers.
