Chez Maguy
Batroun Old Town (seafront alley), Batroun·4.2(690)·$$$$
About
Tucked in an old alley of Batroun's seaside town, Chez Maguy is a beloved, unpretentious seafood spot run by fisherwoman Maguy Al-Mouhawas, who catches much of the daily haul herself. Charcoal-grilled fish, octopus and Lebanese mezze are served on a colourful terrace right over the water. Written up by the New York Times and Le Figaro, it is not clearly signposted, so ask locals and reserve ahead.
