About
The Hilmi family has made Batroun's famous lemonade since 1888, and today three sisters run Hilmi's House of Lemonade in the old souk with 13 flavours plus ice creams and desserts. Squeezed from local citrus, the tangy lemonade comes alongside what they call the world's only lemonade museum, displaying the family's ancestral tools. Chez Hilmi received Lebanon's Order of the Cedars in 1974 for its cultural heritage.
