A UNESCO Man-and-Biosphere reserve on Mount Lebanon's seaward slopes, Jabal Moussa spans 350-1,700 m and shelters over 700 plant species and rich birdlife. Family-friendly marked trails include the easy Roman Stairs (Hadrian's Incline) with 2nd-century inscriptions and the spring Peony Trail. There are guides, picnic spots and a small entry fee that funds conservation.
