About
Two Lebanese-French families lovingly restored this 200-year-old stone house—once a home, then a village school—into an eleven-room guesthouse in Ain Zhalta, at the gates of the Shouf Cedar Reserve. Traditional arches and floors meet contemporary comfort, with a communal dining room, a bar and a terrace shaded by an old mulberry tree. Home-cooked Lebanese breakfasts and quiet cedar-scented walks make it a favourite mountain hideaway.
