Moussa Castle
About
Between Deir el Qamar and Beiteddine, this 3,500 m² castle was built single-handedly over decades by Moussa Abdel Karim al-Maamari to fulfil a childhood dream, opening to the public in 1969. Inside, mechanized dioramas re-create scenes of traditional Lebanese village life alongside a large collection of antique weapons. It is one of the Chouf's most beloved and quirky family attractions.
