About
Established in 1930 by Gaston Hochar, Château Musar is Lebanon's most internationally acclaimed winery, set in the Maronite village of Ghazir about 24 km north of Beirut, above Jounieh. Grapes are grown in the Bekaa and vinified and aged here, producing the long-lived reds and whites that put Lebanese wine on the world map. Free guided tours and tastings run Monday to Saturday by appointment, pairing the wines with local delicacies.
