From Yahchouch village a trail drops through oak-pine forest into the Nahr Ibrahim (Adonis) gorge, passing waterfalls, natural ponds and old tunnels with panoramic canyon views. It's roughly 5 km over 2 to 2.5 hours at an intermediate level, ending with a swim in the clear river; a small fee opens the dam-lake pools. It's a favourite of weekend hiking clubs.
