Founded in 1961 on Chtaura's main road, Massabki is a Bekaa institution making labneh, halloum and fresh cheeses from 100% cow and goat milk. Travellers crossing the valley stop for a classic Lebanese breakfast, above all the hand-rolled labneh sandwich prepared by 'Uncle Elias'. A retail counter sells the dairy and its Karam-brand products to take home.
