Kfar Helda Waterfalls & Gorge
About
In the green Bsatin al-Ossi valley on the Nahr el-Jawz, Kfar Helda strings together a series of waterfalls and natural pools framed by cliffs, gardens and centuries-old churches. Popular hiking routes link it through the gorge toward Beit Chlela and the rock-carved Kaftoun monastery, with cool swims in spring and early summer. It stays refreshingly uncrowded compared with Lebanon's better-known falls.
