Aurora Winery — Boutique Vineyard in the Batroun Mountains
About
Founded in 2003 by oncologist and wine lover Fady Geara, Aurora is a boutique estate set among olive and oak trees at about 900 m in the village of Rachkiddeh, overlooking the Walnut River. Farming is eco-conscious, using dry farming and organic fertilizers to produce two reds and two whites. Guided vineyard-and-cellar tours and tastings are offered on weekends by appointment, with garden barbecues on request.
