About
Built in 1891 as the residence of collector Henri Pharaon, this ornate mansion in Zokak el-Blat was turned into a museum by jeweller Robert Mouawad and opened in 2006. Its rooms display rare books, Chinese porcelain, Byzantine mosaics, carved 17th-century woodwork, jewelry and antiquities. Reopened after the 2020 blast, it is best visited by appointment.
