About
A cluster of restored Ottoman-era stone lanes just inside the gate to the archaeological site, the Old Souk is lined with craft and jewellery boutiques, spice and soap sellers, a famous fossil shop and shaded cafés. It's the best spot in Byblos for a slow wander, a souvenir and a coffee among bougainvillea-draped walls. Several open-air bars keep it lively after dark.
