About
In the hills above Batroun, Rachana is scattered with stone and bronze sculptures created by brothers Michel, Alfred and Youssef Basbous, pioneers of modern Lebanese sculpture. Their works line gardens, roadsides and studios, and in 1997 UNESCO named the village a 'Global Village of Outdoor Sculpture.' Wander freely among the artworks, with the Mediterranean glinting to the west.
