About

This easy-to-moderate trail follows the river between Klayaat and Kfardebian to the ruins of an abandoned village, passing an old Ottoman bridge, crumbling watermills, grape presses and a former silk factory. A water-carved rock and a tall waterfall crown the gorge, at their best after the winter rains and in autumn colours. The full walk takes about two to three hours through the 'Valley of the Cross'.
