Nabeh el Safa Springs, Ain Zhalta
About
The powerful Nabeh el Safa spring bursts from the mountainside above Ain Zhalta, feeding the Damour River and a string of shaded riverside restaurants and parks. Families come to picnic, cool off beside the fast-running water and share mezze to the sound of the stream, before continuing up to the Ain Zhalta cedar forest. It is one of the Chouf's classic warm-weather escapes, set around 1,200 metres in pine and cedar country.
