Lebanon Mountain Trail, Faraya to Kfardebian (Section 13)
About
Section 13 of the Lebanon Mountain Trail runs roughly 13 km from Faraya, starting below the Monastery of Our Lady of the Assumption, toward the Nabaa el Laban spring, the Jisr el Hajar natural bridge and the Faqra Roman ruins. Rated challenging at about 4.5-5 hours, it crosses a hill lake and a concrete water canal whose edges can be slippery. It is best hiked from June to October, with a guide or a downloaded GPS track.
