About
Founded by Jesuit priests in 1857, Château Ksara is Lebanon's oldest and largest winery, set in the Bekaa town of Ksara just outside Zahle. The roughly 40-minute tour takes in a drive by the vineyards, the historic observatory and the 2km network of Roman caves used to age the wine, followed by a tutored tasting. Several tasting tiers are offered and no booking is needed for the standard visit.
