Phoenician Sea Wall & Natural Pools
Batroun Old Town seafront, Batroun·4.3(360)·Free
About
Batroun's Phoenician Wall is an ancient sandstone barrier, roughly 225 metres long and thought to be over 3,000 years old, built to shield the harbour from waves and raiders. You can walk along its crest, swim in the calm natural pools it shelters and photograph the Mediterranean beside the old souk and St Stephen's Cathedral. Free and open-air, it is one of Batroun's most atmospheric spots.
