About
Set in a converted factory on a hilltop in Alita overlooking the Adonis Valley, MACAM is Lebanon's first museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Opened in 2013, it gathers some 400 sculptures and installations by around ninety artists, from Youssef Howayek and the Basbous brothers to today's makers. It runs workshops and temporary shows, and admission is by donation.
