Riachi Winery & Distillery
About
High in the Metn village of El-Khenchara at 1,000 m, Riachi is Lebanon's oldest continuously operating family winery and distillery, founded in 1839 and now run by eighth-generation master distiller Roy Riachi. Beyond reds, whites and traditional faqsh wine, the family distils arak, gin and even single-malt whisky. Reserve Monday to Saturday for anything from a free tasting to a private lunch or a three-hour masterclass, with Mount Sannine as a backdrop.
