About
Jisr el Hajar is a spectacular natural limestone arch, about 38 m wide, 21 m high and 23 m long, carved at roughly 1,600 m near Faqra. During spring snowmelt the Nahr el Laban flows beneath it and drops over a cliff into a ravine as a waterfall. Reached by a short walk off the Faraya-Faqra road, it is free to visit and a favourite of local hikers and photographers.
