High above Kfardebian, two mighty springs burst from the northwestern slopes of Mount Sannine: Nabaa el Laban and Nabaa el Assal, the springs of Milk and Honey. Fed by snowmelt, Nabaa el Assal runs strongest in spring and early summer, cascading down a rocky valley reached on foot from the Faqra and Kfardebian trails. It is a lesser-known companion to the famous Milk waterfall nearby.
