Domaine de Taanayel & Ecolodge
About
The 230-hectare Domaine de Taanayel, managed by the NGO arcenciel around a Jesuit estate dating to 1860, wraps a calm lake in orchards, vineyards and grazing land. Walk or cycle the lakeside loop, taste fresh dairy from the convent farm, and lunch at the traditional Al Khan restaurant, or overnight in the solar-powered, clay-brick Ecolodge. It is one of the greenest, most family-friendly corners of the central Bekaa.
