Laqlouq Mountain Plateau

High in the Byblos District, the Laqlouq plateau sits between roughly 1,750 and 2,000 m, ringed by ridges and largely free of construction. In summer its cool meadows draw families for hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, ATV rides and archery, and it is a gateway to nearby wonders like the Balou' Balaa sinkhole. Crisp mountain air and wide-open views make it a favourite weekend escape from the coast.
