Baatara Gorge Waterfall (Balaa Sinkhole)
About
Near Balaa in Tannourine, meltwater cascades 255 m past three stacked Jurassic-limestone bridges into a dramatic sinkhole known as the Cave of the Three Bridges (Gouffre des Trois Ponts). It lies on the Lebanon Mountain Trail, and a short, steep path leads to viewpoints over the bridges. The falls are most powerful in spring, roughly March to May, when the snow melts.
