Local skippers run private boat charters and sunset cruises out of the historic Byblos harbour, circling the old Crusader-era port and sea walls before dropping anchor for a swim or snorkel in clear coves. Trips range from short family rides to longer romantic evening outings, and can usually be arranged on the day. It is a relaxed way to see one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities from the water.
