About
Souk Aley is the town's historic pedestrian boulevard, lined with palm trees, red-roofed stone houses and rows of street cafés, antique dealers and boutiques. Nicknamed the 'Bride of the Summer Resorts', Aley comes alive on summer evenings as the promenade fills with strollers, music and open-air dining. It is the social heart of one of Mount Lebanon's oldest mountain resorts, a short drive up from Beirut.
