About
In the family home in Freike sits the museum of Ameen Rihani (1876–1940), the pioneering Lebanese-American writer and author of 'The Book of Khalid'. Set up in 1953 on the ground floor that once served as the family's stables, it keeps his manuscripts, letters, books, portraits and personal gifts from world leaders. Visits are by appointment through the Ameen Rihani Organization.
