Built between 1948 and 1998 in Byzantine style, this Melkite Greek Catholic basilica sits on the Harissa hilltop just south of the Our Lady of Lebanon statue. Its interior glows with traditional gold-ground mosaics, and the Arabic Byzantine liturgy is celebrated here on Sundays. Reach it by the coastal road up from Jounieh or by the scenic téléphérique.
