About
Near the old port, Jounieh's arcaded stone souk recalls the town's Phoenician-era trading past and has recently been rehabilitated with tiled alleys, planters and a seafront square. Today it mixes outdoor cafés, artisan workshops and boutiques. On summer weekend evenings the souk turns pedestrian-only, hosting classic-car shows, live music and a lively night-out atmosphere.
