About
One of Lebanon's officially recognised 'most beautiful villages', Ghosta rises at about 950 m in Kesrouan amid stone houses and terraced slopes. It is ringed by heritage religious sites including the 18th-century Kreim (Holy Saviour) monastery and the celebrated Ain Warqa school, a cradle of Maronite learning. Its lanes, chapels and views make it a fine cultural half-day out of Jounieh.
